Earlier this week, LTS Middle School took advantage of the beautiful weather patterns we have been experiencing and our incomparable setting overlooking Lake Tahoe.

Busing the entire middle school a short distance up to Mount Rose Meadows, LTS Middle School teaching faculty took the classroom to the great Tahoe outdoors.

Teachers worked with students to hone their communication and teamwork skill sets, build snow caves, snowshoe, and learn about avalanche beacon technology.

Mt. Rose Meadows is, as LTS Math Teacher and Adventure Learning Coordinator Mr. Patrick Fleming described it, “the world’s most beautiful classroom.”
