The air buzzed with excitement and the scent of possibility last week at our annual LTS Science Fair! Our 6th and 7th-grade students truly outdid themselves, presenting projects that demonstrated creativity, ingenuity, and scientific thinking. From meticulously crafted displays to engaging presentations, the fair was a testament to the hard work and dedication of our young scientists.

Walking through the array of projects, it was clear that these students had poured their hearts and minds into their work. We saw everything from investigations into the effectiveness of “Fur Therapy” to explorations of the immense pressure found in the depths of the “Ocean Pressure.” Each project told a story, a journey of discovery and learning.

What was particularly impressive was the students’ ability to find the science in everyday things. From exploring the chemistry of “Skittle Science” to investigating the impact of “Hot Tools” on hair, they demonstrated a keen eye for observation and a genuine curiosity about the world around them.

It was a pleasure to witness the students’ passion for science. They confidently explained their hypotheses, detailed their methodologies, and presented their findings with enthusiasm. The level of critical thinking and problem-solving skills on display was quite impressive.

Of course, no science fair is complete without recognizing the outstanding achievements of our students. We were thrilled to announce the winners in each grade level:
