Each year, the Rotary Club asks each of the three Incline public schools and Lake Tahoe School, to nominate one of their faculty for recognition within their school as Teacher of the Year. While the criteria for Teacher of the Year is extensive, it is left to each school to nominate one of their own for recognition.

It can be very difficult to choose one individual from among so many talented and passionate faculty members at Lake Tahoe School. Last year’s designee, Stephanie Mancuso also helps to set a high bar for those who might follow. As a result, and in talking with numerous individuals including colleagues, parents, and Administrators, we are pleased to announce that our amazing Kindergarten teacher Sara Holm will be this year’s Rotary Club Teacher of the Year recipient for Lake Tahoe School.

Sara was presented with her award at a weekly Rotary meeting just recently. Please join with the LTS community in congratulating Sara for this wonderful award.
