The Lake Tahoe School co-ed Cross Country team kicked off their season with six top-5 finishes in the middle school competition in the Tah-Neva league at Pete Livermore Park on September 6, 2019.
The Bobcats brought home first place in the 7th grade girls division, run by Madeleine Patrick, and 10th place by teammate, Chloe Ronning. The girls team also fielded five 5th grade girls, the strongest team showing in that grade in the school’s history.
The 8th grade boy’s team was represented by runner, Habte Kershaw, who finished 4th, while 7th graders Luke Davis claimed 1st place, Tommy Williams finished 2nd place, and Aiden Vieara-McCarthy rounded out the 7th grade boys showing in 4th place.
Meanwhile, the 7th grade girls basketball team began their season with a tough loss to Sage Ridge School. The Sage Ridge Scorpions won 21-6 at Lake Tahoe School’s temporary home court at Incline Village Recreation Center. Our girls have since played two scrimmage games against the Whittell 8th grade team and the Incline Middle School 8th grade team.
