Tomoko is originally from Santa Cruz, California, and moved to Reno in 1997. She worked in Sparks teaching 2nd grade, 3rd grade, and ELL’s for nine years before coming to LTS. She graduated from UNR with her Masters in Science Education, and has a Gifted and Talented endorsement as well as an English Language Development endorsement. She loves camping, traveling, going to the beach, cooking, and spending time with her family. She currently lives in Reno with her husband and two children.
