More than 65 community members, scientists and leaders joined LTS staff and honorary host, Nevada Lt. Gov. Kate Marshall, to celebrate International Day of Women and Girls in Science.
The event held in the School’s Athletic and Performing Arts Center marked the first time the School celebrated the annual event which recognizes female scientists throughout the world for their scientific work and contributions.

International Day of Women and Girls in Science is a collaborative event sanctioned by the United Nations.
